Canadian Blood Services
Canadian Blood Services is a not-for-profit charitable organization that operates independently from government. Created through a memorandum of understanding between the federal, provincial and territorial governments, they opened their doors in 1998. Their funding comes primarily from provincial and territorial governments.
Canadian Blood Services is one part of Canada’s broader network of health-care systems, and the only national manufacturer of biological products funded by Canada’s provincial and territorial governments. They provide blood and blood products, as well as transfusion and stem cell registry services, on behalf of all provincial and territorial governments except Quebec.
Blood Drive
Half of all Canadians will either need blood or know someone who needs it. Cancer patients, transplant recipients, accident victims. For these people and so many more, a timely transfusion of blood can be the lifesaving difference.
The need is constant, and that is why Process Fusion decided to participate in this blood drive. Book your appointment to donate blood today. It’s something you can do today to ensure someone else is waking up healthy tomorrow.
